Profile Edges

A key element to consider when designing your stone countertops is the edge detail, which may not seem high on the list of functionally important items, but it should be. This is an important factor that you need to discuss with your kitchen designer or contractor prior to your kitchen countertops being fabricated.

Majestic Marble Import Ltd. offer more than 20 different stone countertop edge profiles.  To create each profiles, we use more than seven kinds of CNC diamond wheels in cutting and shaping the stone.  They are then hand polished by our craftsmen for ultimate finish and preparing for the final inspection.

Also keep in mind that more rounded edges such as bullnose and pencil round are more forgiving and therefore less susceptible to chipping compared to square edges.  More detailed edges such as waterfall and laminated edges cost more than standard edges such as pencil round.
